Teaching Personnel is working closely with a secondary school in Wigan to recruit a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant for January 2025. This role involves providing tailored one-to-one support to a female student with wheelchair requirements.

Requirements:
* Experience supporting students with additional needs aged 11–16.
* A calm, compassionate, and patient approach.
* Must hold a valid DBS registered on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
Salary: Competitive and reflective of responsibilities.
Contract: Potential to progress into a permanent role following a trial period.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with SEN pupils, demonstrating empathy and the ability to support educational and personal development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
