Purpose of the role: RA is seeking a Fractional CFO to provide high-level financial and strategic guidance. This role will work closely with the finance team to optimise financial operations and ensure long-term financial sustainability. The ideal candidate will guide the leadership and finance team in financial best practices, operational efficiencies, and future financial structuring. Key responsibilities: Strategic Financial Advisory: Provide high-level guidance on financial strategy, business scalability, and long-term financial sustainability. Financial Operations Optimisation: Assess current finance operations, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements and financial clarity. International Finance & Tax Compliance: Advise on financial compliance and structuring in key international markets (UK, EU, USA, Australia, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil). Scenario Planning & Risk Management: Develop financial models to support growth strategies and manage risks. Capital Structuring: Lead capital structure planning, including potential financing, equity raises, or reinvestment strategies. Capital Planning & Cost Efficiency: Guide leadership on cash flow optimisation, capital allocation, and margin improvements. We’re looking for: Experience as a CFO or Finance Director in a scaling SME, ideally within marketplaces, SaaS, or technology businesses. Strong track record in financial advisory, with expertise in financial planning, operational finance strategy, and international structuring. Ability to provide high-level strategic insights without direct execution responsibility. Deep understanding of multi-currency, cross-border finance, and tax implications. Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex financial insights into actionable business decisions.
