Location: Worcestershire - Primarily in Worcester

Compensation: Sleep In Shifts of £50.00 and On Call Shifts of £14.30 per shift Plus Brilliant Benefits

Typical Day as a Support Worker:
* Assisting customers with practical, daily living tasks to develop their independence and achieve the goals documented in their support plans.
* Supporting customers who have a Mental Health Diagnosis to manage independently in their own home.
* Helping customers with daily living activities such as making meals, shopping, budgeting, maintaining their tenancy, and moving onto independent accommodation.
* Carrying out risk assessments, support planning, goal setting, and regular reviews.
* Engaging in meaningful conversations and building rapport with customers.
You Bring:
* A passion for supporting vulnerable individuals, motivated by the desire to make positive and lasting changes in their lives.
* Experience in care or support roles, with a keen understanding of safeguarding, risk assessments, and confidentiality.
* Empathy and the ability to maintain appropriate boundaries, paired with the resilience to manage challenging behaviours.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to motivate and encourage others with patience and understanding.
* Flexibility to work on a 24-hour rota basis, accommodating the varying needs of our customers.
* A commitment to continuous learning and development, embracing opportunities to enhance your skills.
* Experience working as a support worker with knowledge of housing systems and benefits systems.
Job Details:
* Work pattern - 24hr rota with sleep ins. You will be working your share of weekends, evenings, and sleeping night shifts.
* Although you’ll lone work, we do get together regularly for training and team meetings.
* Able to use technology to update support plans and complete online learning.
* You’ll need an Enhanced DBS check done, and we pay for that.
