Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the Head of Payroll – assisting in managing a range of client payrolls – taking ownership and ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
2. Provide expert advice and guidance – helping clients navigate complex payroll and compliance issues.
3. Lead, train, and support payroll trainees and other support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
4. Manage day-to-day payroll activities, including processing payrolls, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.

1. Proven previous experience in a payroll role, preferably within a chartered accountant’s firm or a similar professional services environment.
