Group Head of Finance
We are seeking to recruit a Group Head of Finance to work as part of NOCN's Group Finance team on a full-time permanent basis at our Sheffield Head office.

Purpose and Objectives:
Responsible for the operational delivery of the Group finance function for the UK and internationally.
Responsible for overseeing effective delivery of accurate and timely Group Consolidated Financial Reporting to the Operational Management team, the Board and its committees.
Responsible for the maintenance and development of the Group’s financial controls, policies, procedures and systems, to ensure that they are effective, proportionate and efficient.
Act as the lead for the NOCN Group audit.
Deputise for the Group Director on Finance related matters in their absence.
About you...
The ideal successful candidate will need to meet the following must have criteria:-
Accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with demonstrable post qualification experience or qualified by experience with a demonstrable experience at a senior management level.
Experience of managing, motivating and developing finance staff.
Significant experience in managing a finance function within a £10 million+ turnover business with group consolidation experience.
Experience working on developing and leading finance systems project/change programmes.
Experience managing external relationships and year-end audit process.
Experience of developing and delivering clear and focused financial analysis and reports to multiple business levels.
Can demonstrate ability/aptitude to deliver their role with limited direct supervision.
Excellent Excel skills.
Good general IT skills including the ability to proficiently use the Microsoft Office suite.
Willingness to travel in the UK when required.
Achievement of Core tasks through self-management.
Leading, Coaching, and empowering people, teams and building teams.
Useful to have criteria:-
Educated to degree level.
Post Graduate Management qualification.
Experience of Sage 200.
Experience in a B2B services business and/or a not-for-profit.
