We are seeking a Head of Finance
To work alongside our CFO, managing the Finance Department’s systems and processes to provide timely, accurate management information and ensuring the College always achieves its financial KPIs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and inspire the Finance team, providing clear day-to-day leadership in the development and delivery of the finance function;
* Deliver monthly management accounts, year-end financial statements and all other required reporting in an accurate and timely manner;
* Develop, review and implement processes and procedures in line with legislative framework, AoC guidelines and educational standards;
* Work with the CFO to deliver a robust budget and forecasting;
* Support all Capital projects, ensuring availability of spend and risk and cash flow information;
* Promote the welfare of children and young people.
Key Person Specification Requirements:
* Full accountancy qualifications (CCAB, ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CIPFA);
* Evidence of understanding of funding body financial procedures;
* Evidence of developing, implementing and managing a wide range of financial procedures, computerised financial information systems and a devolved budget system;
* Experience of working in a complex, multi-site organisation;
* An open management style that motivates and inspires others.
