Pharmacists yet to complete their credentialing should be able to evidence their own practice, mostly at mastery level (RPS Advanced Pharmacy Framework) and would join as a Lead Pharmacist (band 8b), moving up to a band 8c and be awarded the Consultant Pharmacist title once credentialed. Main duties of the job You'll be the named antimicrobial stewardship (AMS) lead for the Somerset Health system, responsible for the leadership and operational delivery of a high-quality AMS programme in line with the agreed priorities. This will involve managing an AMS pharmacy team at Somerset NHS Foundation Trust, providing a highly specialist, evidence-based service to influence infection management strategies and the safe and effective use of antimicrobials within the Trust.
