We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Guard/Gateman to oversee access control at a popular site in the idyllic town of Haywards Heath. The perfect candidate will be vigilant, reliable, and possess excellent communication skills. Access Control: Manage the entry and exit of operatives, visitors, and delivery vehicles, ensuring only authorized personnel are allowed on site. Log Maintenance: Keep accurate records of all site entries and exits, including vehicle details and visitor information. Site Security: Conduct regular patrols of the site perimeter to ensure all areas are secure and report any security breaches or hazards. CCTV Monitoring: Monitor CCTV cameras to detect and report any suspicious activities or security incidents. Emergency Procedures: Assist in the implementation of emergency procedures, including evacuations and first aid, if necessary. Visitor Assistance: Provide directions and assistance to visitors and delivery drivers, ensuring they follow site protocols. Safety Protocols: Ensure all safety protocols are adhered to, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with health and safety regulations. Communication: Liaise with the site management team to report any issues or incidents and provide regular updates on site security. Sign-In Procedures: Ensure all visitors sign in and out of the site, maintaining accurate visitor logs. Traffic Management: Direct and manage the flow of traffic on site to prevent congestion and ensure safety. Incident Reporting: Document and report any incidents or accidents that occur on site, following company procedures. Valid front line SIA Licence. Previous experience as a Guard or Gateman is desirable. Ability to commute to the site due to its remote location. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to provide a full 5-year checkable history for vetting purposes. CSCS, NG Persons & TM ticket is desirable
