About the Role
We are currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants and SEMH Behaviour Mentors to join vibrant and inclusive SEN and SEMH schools in Rochester. These schools are dedicated to supporting children with a range of additional needs, providing a nurturing and structured environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities
1. Support students with SEN and SEMH needs, both in the classroom and on a 1:1 basis
2. Implement tailored strategies to help manage behaviour and emotional regulation
3. Assist teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons
4. Encourage students' social and emotional development through positive reinforcement
5. Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff
6. Promote a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
Who We're Looking For
1. Enthusiastic individuals with a passion for education and supporting children
2. Experience working with SEN, SEMH, or challenging behaviour (preferred but not essential)
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
4. Resilient, patient, and adaptable mindset
5. Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 TA, Psychology degree, Youth Work, or similar) - desirable but not required
