Job Details JOB SUMMARY To support the Goods Inwards and production in process Inspection. Key Duties And Responsibilities To work closely with Quality and production personnel to carryout Inspections of material and finished assemblies against drawings and industry and company standards. To produce Certificates of Conformity for finished assemblies. To liaise with Quality/Production and stores staff, to ensure Inspections are carried out in accordance with company standards and drawing requirements. To identify defects, deviations, and non-conformities in finished assemblies and materials. To work closely with QA personnel to support Production and Customer Services activity to ensure that all material is inspected and passed through in a timely manner. To provide goods inwards inspection resource, utilizing the company’s systems. Record inspection results, maintain detailed reports, and complete quality checklists. Comply with Cubic’s Quality Management System Comply with Cubic Occupational Health, Safety and Environment policies and procedures. Comply with security in accordance with established policies and procedures of the organizations. In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the jobholder is required to perform other duties assigned by the supervisor/manager from time to time, as may be reasonably required of them. Essential KEY REQUIREMENTS (Skills, knowledge, qualifications, and experience) Experience gained within an Inspection environment. Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings. Knowledge of Inspection techniques. Proficiency in using measuring equipment, e.g. Verniers, height gauges, etc. Understanding of manufacturing processes. Proficiency in QC Reporting & Documentation. Desirable Associate or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality Assurance). City and Guilds/NVQ in an engineering discipline.
