Job Summary:
The Technical Writer will be an essential member of the Digital Workplace team, dedicated to creating, maintaining, and enhancing knowledge assets including runbooks and process improvements. This role involves collaborating with subject matter experts and stakeholders to capture valuable organizational knowledge, ensuring the information is accurate, relevant, and of high quality. The Technical Writer plays a crucial role in managing and optimizing knowledge to improve service delivery and customer support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to identify and document valuable knowledge within the assigned organizational or functional area.
* Analyse and categorize knowledge assets to ensure accuracy, relevance, and quality.
* Foster a collaborative work environment that empowers teams to achieve exceptional results.
* Utilise knowledge management tools and technologies, such as ServiceNow and Confluence, to effectively capture and maintain Knowledge Articles.
* Apply strong analytical skills to assess knowledge needs, analyse data, and identify trends or patterns that drive continuous improvement.
* Support transformation by creating regional alignment and global standards, along with best practices processes.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably within a service desk or IT support environment.
* Familiarity with knowledge management principles and best practices.
* Proficiency in using knowledge management tools and technologies, such as ServiceNow and Confluence, to capture and maintain Knowledge Articles.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment spanning across multiple regions globally.
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to identify and document valuable knowledge.
* Strong analytical skills to assess knowledge needs, analyse data, and identify trends or patterns that drive strategic decisions.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to strict deadlines.
