Bishop Burton College invites you to apply for the exciting role of Farm Supervisor, where you will oversee day-to-day farm operations in a beautiful countryside setting, close to Hull, York, and Leeds.
As Farm Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for coordinating a team, ensuring that our high standards are met across livestock, crops, and equipment maintenance. You’ll play a hands-on role, managing daily activities like feeding, cleaning, and harvest operations, while adjusting schedules to meet the demands of our dynamic farm environment.
Your key responsibilities are:
* Operational Supervision: Lead and support farm staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
* Livestock & Crop Management: Oversee livestock welfare and crop productivity, working closely with our Assistant Farm Manager.
* Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, conducting regular risk assessments.
* Training & Development: Support team growth by identifying training opportunities.
* Record-Keeping: Maintain precise records for livestock, crop management, and safety.
* Site Maintenance: Oversee the upkeep of our farm buildings, equipment, and grounds.
