Based in Glasgow City Centre and established in November 1997 we are currently the largest training provider in Scotland to offer the Scottish Vocational Qualification in Social Services (Children and Young People) at SCQF Level 7. \n\nWe have the opportunity to grow our team and looking to recruit a new digital marketing administrator. We are looking for a recent college or university leaver interested in a career in business and marketing. \n\nThere is future career progression with this role.\n\nDuties would include: \n\nYearly Contract:\n\nâ¢\tUpon receiving our yearly contract from Skills Development Scotland, have a meeting with the Senior Marketing Officer to discuss the previous yearâs marketing and decide on the structured split between each Lec area. This would ensure we are marketing in all areas each year effectively and taking into consideration changes in demand. Planning is essential to make sure we target all areas throughout the contractual year. \n\nâ¢\tBe driven to meet relevant targets to and plan out how many apprentices we aim to reach per month and per area, to achieve the contract within the following year.\n\nâ¢\tBe driven to meet new business targets in Lec areas. \n\nReview and evaluate marketing Strategies:\n\nâ¢\tMarket Schools, Careers, and any other contacts regarding recruitment via email, calls, posters, visits etc.\n\nâ¢\tWork closely with advertising sales teams and Online recruitment advertising campaigns regarding advertising Carousel Training Centreâs programme and current \n vacancies, working within a yearly budget.\n\nâ¢\tKeep social media platforms up to date with marketing promotions, company updates, news, recruiting and case studies/celebrations of candidateâs progress. \n\nâ¢\tMarket employers we currently donât work with and organise information to be emailed, follow up with a call to promote our services on offer and awareness of the \n modern apprenticeship programme. Arrange a meeting with the employer if they wish to consider taking on a new apprentice with Carousel to discuss Employer \n Handbook and complete Site Selection. Marketing Officers should keep note of new nurseries along with LEC area targets.\n\nâ¢\tLiaise with existing nurseries for the purpose of keeping up high standard of customer care i.e.: regular visits, calls, and emails where needed to resolve any issues or \n discuss any new funding or incentives on offer, keep customers updated of any changes relating to the programme or their candidates, and current vacancies.\n\nâ¢\tLiaise with the Senior Marketing Officer regarding equalities marketing to ensure we meet the percentage for the current year, where possible.\n\nâ¢\tActively look for ways to battle quality imbalance, including gender, disability & ethnicity. Work with organisations who work with the above groups, such as Bernardoâs, \n Street League, ENABLE, etc. \n\nReceptionist Duties:\n\nâ¢\tAnswer telephone calls, take messages, and forward onto the relevant staff member.\nâ¢\tAnswer emails in the enquiries and applications inbox. \n\nâ¢\tAnswer daily emails in own inbox. \n\nSelect and Interview potential candidates:\n\nâ¢\tRegister all applicants on the application register. \n\nâ¢\tEmail âThank you for your applicationâ to relevant applicants. \n\nâ¢\tContact over 20 applicants regarding âEnhanced Fundingâ. \n\nâ¢\tPrint applications and distribute to the relevant marketing officer by Lec area. \n\nâ¢\tArrange date and time for interview presentation and invite applicants via email and text.\n\nâ¢\tFollowing interview presentation, conduct individual interviews, complete scoresheet and score written work. \n\nâ¢\tLiaise with employers on successful candidates, arrange trials and interviews with a view to securing employment for the modern apprenticeship programme and \n process outcomes.\n\nâ¢\tProcess successful outcomes by emailing candidate and assessor, add to relevant starts table, successful board, and contract numbers. \n\nâ¢\tComplete Enhanced Funding applications with eligible over 20 applicants. \n\nGenerate start papers:\nMarketing Officers are responsible for generating the start papers for their own LEC areas. \n\nâ¢\tPrint candidateâs core skills via SQA Connect. \n\nâ¢\tAdd candidate to class list and core skills list. \n\nâ¢\tEnter applicantâs details onto the start paper database and then have these verified by another Marketing Officer. \n\nâ¢\tOnce verified; print pre-populated documents and black forms, gather start paper pack and put into the start paper folder for assessor to collect. \n\nâ¢\tEmail class dates to candidate and employer. \n\nâ¢\tWrite up blue file for candidate and put into Admin only once the file is complete.\n\nGeneral Duties:\n\nâ¢\tChase up candidateâs start dates with employers on a weekly basis via telephone calls and update starts table / process start dates accordingly.\n\nâ¢\tLiaise with admin and assessors regarding any early leavers â Support apprentices to find a new employer, or inform them their training is cancelled depending on \n assessorâs decision. \n\nâ¢\tResearch new funding and incentives. \n\nâ¢\tTrack and update candidates National Insurance numbers. \n\nEvents:\n\nâ¢\tAttend interactive events held by Careers Offices, Schools, and other organisations for the purpose of spreading awareness of the Early Years programme and SVQâs \n and provide detailed information posters accordingly. \n\nâ¢\tAttend the yearly Skills Scotland show. \n\nâ¢\tArrange and attend our own events, including events specific to targeting equalities. \n\nStaff Development:\n\nâ¢\tAttend formal supervision sessions. \n\nâ¢\tAttend team meetings & marketing meetings.\n\nâ¢\tBe fully aware of all policies and procedures operating within the centre.\n\nâ¢\tTake part in regular training, such as online ACAS courses and update online training folder regularly throughout the year. \n You will learn how to communicate in a busy office environment, how to use our inhouse data bases and IT systems. You will learn customer service skills and how to manage a busy work load. You will also learn about our customers, products and services.
