Job summary University Hospitals Dorset wishes to appoint Consultant Radiologists with subspecialist interests in Head and Neck and Neuro Imaging. The post holder will be based on the RBH site but may cover sessions and MDTs at Poole Hospital. The post holder will be part of the on-call arrangements for general radiology. UHD provides head and neck cancer services across Dorset and all patients are discussed in the relevant MDT with specialist input from the radiologists. UHD also provides a wide range of benign ENT and maxillofacial services which are supported by Radiology. The stroke unit at UHD is the second largest in the country with over 1300 stroke admissions last year. Neurology services are provided across Dorset and the weekly neuroimaging meeting includes regular neurosurgical input from UHS.
