The Company: £400 Million Turnover, diversified group delivering services to the Environmental, Industrial and Property sectors. Listed on AIM (LON:HSP) and headquartered near Durham. Over 1,250+ employees are spread around the world delivering various projects and services to a range of different industries. The Group is a market leader of a wide range of environmental and industrial services across the UK, South East Asia and in South Africa.
The Role : The Business Development Manager will be largely responsible for prospecting new business across the South of the UK. Based from home and in the field, the successful candidate will be targeting a variety of public and private end users. This role would suit a consultative, entrepreneurial, business development led salesperson with a hunter mentality.
As part of your sales process, you will be winning new business (this could be any business with a need for waste disposal) you will then look after delivery of the service by managing previously developed relationships with haulage and waste disposal companies. You must use your initiative to generate new market openings and some leads will be passed through the internal database. This is a win and retain model, where you keep and manage all clients that you have brought on board.
Requirements : To be considered for the Business Development Manager role you must have:

6. Ideally to have worked with bulk tonnage
7. A strong entrepreneurial mindset
8. Driven, disciplined and happy to work independently with own autonomy
9. Driving License

The Package for Business Development Manager:
10. Basic: £55,000
11. Bonus / OTE: 30% of basic salary. Half available as annual bonus, half available over quarters
