A job opportunity has arisen for a Cyber Programme Delivery Manager to join a rapidly expanding organisation that is based in Cardiff. This is an opportunity to lead on several high-profile Cyber transformation projects whilst working for an organisation that is directly impacting people’s lives and services within Wales.
Your new role
You will join a growing digital team that is responsible for advocating digital services, driving digital transformation, implementing technical solutions, and fostering innovation across multiple organisations. The Delivery Manager will lead on several key projects within the programme, managing all projects through to time, budget, and quality objectives. Reporting to the Head of Digital, you will identify and lead on initiatives to help integrate cyber resilience into the digital transformation projects/programmes, lead on business transformation strategies, and promote best practices in cyber security resilience to safeguard public data and systems against cyber threats. You will liaise with a range of key senior stakeholders (both internal and external) and represent the digital team at any required meetings/forums.
What you'll need to succeed
1. A proven track record of successful project delivery / project management
2. An awareness of cyber security principles/best practices
3. Excellent stakeholder management, relationship management and communication skills
4. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience of delivering Cyber projects would be a distinct advantage
5. Experience of delivering either business change, business transformation or IT/digital projects
