Part-Time Contracts Manager - Residential & Commercial Property Projects (Belfast) Potential to Earn £250 Per Day Connexus UK are delighted to be partnering with our client who due to growing demand, are seeking a skilledContracts Manager to join their team and manage a range of exciting residential and commercial development projects across Northern Ireland, with a focus on the Belfast area. This part-time role, structured as a Contract for Services, offers flexibility and the opportunity to earn £250 per day. Key Responsibilities: Project Oversight: Manage the delivery of multiple construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard. Client Management: Liaise with clients to fully understand their needs and provide regular updates on progress. Tender Preparation: Prepare and submit tenders for new business to win contracts for the business. Team Leadership: Lead and manage site teams, ensuring effective use of resources and optimal performance. Budget & Schedule Planning: Create detailed work schedules, budgets, and timelines for each project. Contract Negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate business contracts with clients and suppliers. Compliance Management: Ensure all projects comply with regulatory and safety standards (EH&S). Site Meetings: Attend regular site meetings to monitor progress and address any emerging issues. Problem Solving: Address post-construction issues and ensure smooth project handover after Practical Completion. Essential Criteria: Experience: Demonstrable experience in Contracts or Project Management in the construction industry, ideally with a Main Contractor. Leadership Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously, driving them to successful outcomes. Contract Expertise: Experience with JCT, NEC, and D&B contracts. IT Proficiency: High level of IT literacy for managing schedules, budgets, and communication. Full Driving License: Required for site visits and client meetings. Communication Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and negotiation skills. Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with construction safety standards and regulatory compliance. Desired Criteria: Qualification: Ideally Degree or HND in Construction Management or a related field. Business Development: Previous experience in winning and managing business within the construction sector. EH&S Card: Current and valid EH&S card.
