Job summary Chemilab Group of Independent Community Pharmacies is looking to add a pharmacist manager to its friendly and dedicated team, with branches across Watford, Hertfordshire. We operate a number of practices at the heart of our community, so you will have the support of an experienced team, as well as pharmacist peers across our network to help develop your professional career. Main duties of the job Dispense prescription medications to patients and provide medication counselling. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication use. Review medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness. Monitor patient medication therapy for potential drug interactions or adverse effects. Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles. Provide education and guidance to patients on proper medication use and potential side effects. Participate in pharmacy quality improvement initiatives. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in pharmacy practice and drug therapy. Person Specification Qualifications Essential Qualified with an MPharm degree or equivalent qualification. GPhC registration. Desirable Qualified independent prescriber, or working towards this. Experience Essential Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensing. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, drug therapy, and pharmacy regulations. Desirable Experience in community pharmacy.
