The child & family wellbeing practitioner role is to support Health Visitors and nurses to deliver the Heathy Child Programme (0-5), to achieve positive outcomes for children and families. This includes delivery of specific elements of the programme and a focus on the high impact areas, such as infant feeding and baby massage to support maternal mental health. You will need to have a caring and approachable demeanour in order to gain the trust and respect of local families and children. You will also need to be confident using IT systems and be able to demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel.
