Our client, based in a rural position in Chalgrove is looking for a Volunteer Experience Administrator to become a part of their committed and growing team. As the first point of contact, their Volunteer Experience Team seamlessly support volunteers, service users and charity day-to-day requirements. Role headlines: Position : Volunteer Experience Administrator Responsible to : Volunteer Experience Manager Hours : 21 hours over three days (To include a Monday) Salary : £12/hour Contract: Temporary (3 months) Location : Office based in Chalgrove, Oxfordshire About the role: As a Volunteer Experience Administrator, you’ll be part of a busy team who are the backbone of our volunteer community support.Your responsibilities will include: Administration: Data entry and database management: Engaging communication: Customer experiences: Process online shop orders and pack for despatch, process post, manage stationery and office supplies and ensure smooth payment transactions. Filing, photocopying and monitoring emails. Be comfortable and confident using information management systems, entering and retrieving data, and keeping all information accurate and up to date. Support and assist volunteers in maintaining their own volunteer records. Act as a contact to a high number of email and telephone queries. Respond to all queries efficiently with quality information and guidance. Liaise with volunteer community and service users and ensure everyone receives high-quality support, leaving them with a meaningful and positive impression of us. Confidently and clearly guide volunteers through their entire volunteering journey, from application through to retirement. This job is for you if you have: Organisational skills: You possess an eye for detail. You can manage your time and tasks effectively, and easily deal with conflicting priorities. Administrative aptitude: You have prior administration experience and have good working knowledge of IT software, such as Microsoft Office. You have used information management systems in previous roles. People focused attitude: You are often complimented for your friendly, optimistic, and helpful attitude and ideally have customer service experience. You want to work collaboratively in a small team. Effective communication: You love speaking to people and your written and verbal communication skills are top-notch. You can interact with our volunteers, service users and colleagues sensitively and effectively. Willingness to learn: You enjoy a varied role, want to learn about us and are passionate about what we do. About the team: The Volunteer Experience Team primarily supports volunteers through their application process, but they also touch on every aspect of the charity, so their knowledge of the charity is fantastic. They receive and deal with inbound and outbound calls and emails from our network of over 5,000 volunteers and approximately 10,000 registered establishments across the UK. The Administrator role will involve delivering exceptional service on every interaction for all sorts of queries and tasks required by the charity. Why join us?
