SEMH Teaching Assistant Full time (permanent) Hours - Monday to Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm Bournemouth Start date - ASAP The School and Role An Alternative Provision school based in Bournemouth are currently seeking a Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible. The school caters for secondary pupils aged years with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, ASD, and various other complex needs. All learners have an Educational, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The successful Support Assistant will be required to work with pupils, assisting them academically as well as overcoming barriers to learning and supporting them emotionally.
