Senior Warehouse & CNC Brake Press Operator (CNC Brake Press & Guillotine Experience Required)

This is a permanent position offering an annual salary of £28,000 - £30,000.00.
Working hours: 39 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 4.30pm / Friday 9.00am - 4.00pm
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
2. Operate CNC brake presses and guillotines, ensuring precision and quality in all produced parts.
3. Train and mentor warehouse staff on best practices for machine operation, safety, and quality control.
4. Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock management to ensure timely supply of materials.
5. Receive, check, and make up orders as per customers' requirements.
6. Assist customers with the handling/loading of consignments and documentation.
7. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery, coordinating maintenance and repairs as needed.
8. Unload delivery vehicles and allocate stock to holding areas in the warehouse.
9. Ensure the forklift vehicle is maintained (charged, water, etc.) and in a clean and safe condition.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role.
2. Background in operating CNC brake presses and guillotines.
3. Knowledge of warehouse management practices and safety regulations.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
5. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
6. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
7. Proficient in using warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
8. Certification or training in CNC machining or related fields.
9. Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
