Our client is a consultancy looking for an HS Consultant to undertake health and safety activities on behalf of their clients such as:
1. Policies, Organisation and Procedures
2. Risk Assessments
3. Surveys and Inspections
4. Mentoring and providing advice
5. Management reporting
6. Accident/Incident reporting and investigation
7. Contractor Management
You will also be required to carry out audits of clients' premises and devise cost-effective plans, as well as preparing client-specific documentation as appropriate.
As this is a field/home/office (Manchester) based role, you will need to drive and have your own car, and there may be an odd overnight stay away.
You will need to have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a health and safety role and ideally have GradIOSH grade or equivalent (will consider TechIOSH).
