My Client, an International bank in the City, seeks a Liquidity Risk banker with experience of LCR/NSFR monitoring and reporting, to join their broader Risk & Compliance function in London. Responsibilities include : Support the Head and the Risk & ALM teams in the day-to-day management of risk, with particular focus on liquidity risk and ALM forecasting, but also other risk-related activities. Assistant Secretariat for ALCO. Produce management information of liquidity risk for ALCO, Subsidiary Risk & Compliance (RCC) and Branch Risk Committee meetings. Assist the Department Head and the Liquidity Risk (LR) Team and join the respective inter-departmental working groups in the annual updates of the ILAAP and RRP for liquidity risk of the Subsidiary, as well as other UK regulatory compliance work. Assist and provide advice on liquidity risk management strategy, framework, policy and procedure, and assist in the annual updates of risk-related policy documents owned by Risk & ALM. Liquidity Risk Management: member of LR Team directed by the Department Head, with responsibilities including but not limited to: Daily LCR/NSFR monitoring and other liquidity risk indicators. Weekly, monthly and quarterly liquidity reports for various stakeholders, including Parent Bank and Senior Management. [Specifically: HO returns G21-G25). Monitor the Bank’s liquidity position and buffer on a daily basis, conduct daily liquidity forecasting and perform ad hoc analyses. Produce management information of liquidity risk for ALCO, RCC and Branch RC meetings, including ALM forecasting. Internal liquidity risk stress testing including regular review of the scenarios to ensure that they remain relevant and up-to-date. Subsidiary only : assist in annual updates of ILAAP, RRP, ICAAP and Pillar 3 Statement. Oversight of RFR upload process: assist Department Head in the daily RFR upload process. Other tasks as directed by the Department Head, including but not limited to assist ongoing streamlining and automation of processes, participation in Head Office Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) exercises, etc. Experience required : experience with reputable banks / FIs (ideally smaller / foreign), with particular focus on liquidity risk and ALM forecasting. Full understanding, and correct interpretation of, regulatory regimes and requirements regarding liquidity risk (LCR/NSFR monitoring, etc.) and ALM, ideally through participation in ALCO, either as a member or attendee. Involvement in preparation of ILAAP and ideally also Pillar 3 and ICAAP.
