Joshua Robert are recruiting on behalf of a Housing Association in London, on the lookout for a Repairs Manager to join their team. This is avital position for the organisation, to ensure the organisation delivers on their Repairs Obligations and ensuing resident satisfaction.
Main Duties:
Develop and implement a robust performance management framework to oversee repairs and voids, ensuring consistent and effective service delivery.
Establish and maintain systems for collecting and analysing customer feedback, using insights to drive service improvements and enhance satisfaction.
Recommend, manage, and monitor the annual repairs and voids budget, ensuring expenditure aligns with financial targets and corrective actions are implemented where necessary.
Conduct regular quality checks on completed and outstanding repairs, ensuring all work meets the organisation’s standards and legal requirements.
Maintain and review an approved list of contractors, negotiating terms, monitoring performance, and taking action to address underperformance.
Ensure accurate recording and reporting of all repairs and voids data using IT systems, providing monthly performance reports to senior leadership.
Oversee the consistent application of policies and procedures related to repairs and voids, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
Apply LEAN techniques to identify and eliminate inefficiencies, improving service delivery and focusing on core customer needs.
Lead efforts to meet and exceed key performance targets, including response times for emergencies and non-emergencies, first-time fix rates, and void turnaround times.
Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and residents to build strong working relationships, ensuring transparency and alignment with organisational goals
