Our Warehouse Specials Technicians are a pivotal part of the success of the service we provide. What we look for in a Warehouse Specials Technician The ability to undertake the service and maintenance of Specialist Beds, hoists, pressure care equipment paediatric, bariatric and other specialised daily living aids. Predominately within a Warehouse Environment. Previous experience in an electrical or mechanical position would be advantageous but is not essential. Experience of PAT & LOLER Testing is an advantage but full training is provided. The ability to carry out a significant amount of manual handling. Providing exceptional service to our customers by recycling equipment in a confident manner with good verbal communication skills. To apply a good standard of engineering practice at all times. To be aware of, and apply, Health and Safety regulations at all times on warehouse sites. To monitor any recycled special entering into the business using the Decontamination processes. In discussion with senior Management, the agreed upon processs for scrap, maintenance and repair. Recycled Special items to be photographed to allow these to be listed on the specials category with instructions, dimensions and any costs attached in conjunction with the contract OT/OTA. Good communication Skills to be able to assist Prescribers/OT s with any queries. To keep all areas clean and tidy under Health and Safety act. Must be computer literate in excel/word. Must be able to assist in all warehouse duties. As part of the Warehouse Team, you will be placed on a Saturday Rota which is currently 1 weekend in 7. Due to the nature of the role an Enhanced DBS (formerly CRB) Disclosure will be required (at the company s cost).
