Job Description
Child Creatives is seeking an experienced freelance bid writer to support the submission of an Arts Council England funding bid and additional grant applications for an upcoming R&D project currently in development.
This new project, conceived by Ed Hill and produced by Rob Thorpe-Woods, explores grief, family, loneliness, and the loss of a loved one. It is an exciting opportunity to support the early stages of a meaningful and thought-provoking creative work.
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional with a proven track record in securing funding. The ideal candidate will have experience writing successful Arts Council England bids and researching additional funding opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Write, edit, and submit high-quality funding applications aligned with funder requirements.
2. Identify and research potential grant funders, trusts, and foundations.
3. Reach out to charities and organisations with aligned missions to explore partnerships.
Fee:
The bid writer will be paid £150 per day.

About Ed Hill
Ed is a non-binary theatre director with experience at The Orange Tree Theatre, The Old Vic, and the National Youth Theatre. They founded CHILD. Creatives to support artists in developing their practice while having fun.
About Rob Thorpe-Woods
Rob is a producer and writer who has worked with Southwark Playhouse, Headlong, Theatre503, and Camden People's Theatre. As a writer, he has collaborated with The Royal Court and the RSC's 37 Plays project. He currently works as an Education Producing Coordinator at Shakespeare's Globe.
