Trainee Traffic Installation Technician
Telent is looking for a Trainee Traffic Installation Technician to join our team of Traffic Signals / Traffic Lighting specialists in Gloucestershire. Due to growth, we are expanding our Traffic team in this region. This is a field-based role; the successful candidate must hold a full UK driving license and be willing to travel across the region and work in all weather conditions.

What you’ll do:
Work with experienced Traffic Engineers to install, maintain, and test Traffic Signals and Electrical components in Gloucestershire. Training includes classroom, on-the-job, desk-based, and online learning, progressing toward NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Highways Electrical Installations, and certifications like ECS and NHSS Chapter 8.
Who you are:
Interested in field-based engineering with some exposure to electrical installations, or eager to start a new career. No experience? Apply! Motivation, problem-solving skills, a full UK driving license, good communication skills, and computer literacy are essential. Willing to undertake drug and alcohol testing.
