Are you passionate about working in a role where you contribute to helping children find permanency through adoption?
Do you want to work in a social work team that is friendly, compassionate, positive and supportive?
Would you like to join an organisation that invests in developing our Social Workers through a clear progression pathway?
Look no further, Adoption Tees Valley has the perfect opportunity for you!
We are currently recruiting for a Social Worker to join our friendly and supportive team on a full time, permanent basis.
Adoption Tees Valley is the Regional Adoption Agency, covering the five Tees Valley Local Authority areas. We are responsible for completing adoption assessments, matching and linking children with adoptive families and providing outstanding adoption support. We have been hugely successful in finding families for children and have helped more siblings be placed together, more older children and children who have additional needs to be adopted. We continue to build our adoption support service and are committed to adoption support for all children and families from the time the child moves into the family.
This is what some of our adopters have said:
"Our social worker is absolutely amazing, we are going through the Early Permanence process and she has stayed with us, for advice, help and support even during the time she does not have an 'official' role in the process."
"The reason we chose to go through the process with ATV was down to the staff we spoke to initially who we felt were so professional and totally put us at ease"
We will provide a nurturing environment where your practice will flourish to contribute to positive outcomes for our children and families. Our team are experienced, friendly and approachable. You will receive personal support from an advanced practitioner, regular supervision, bespoke learning and development.
It is anticipated that appointments will be made at Grade L of the career grade to maintain a skills balance within the team.
To be considered for interview, you will:
1. Have a relevant social work qualification
2. Be registered with Social Work England
