Salary Range: Up to £65,000 depending on experience
Location: Remote with adhoc travel to our Bournemouth and Eastleigh office

The UX/UI Manager will lead a team of UX/UI designers, planning the delivery roadmaps for each digital journey and ensuring they align to business priorities. As a UX/UI Manager, you will regularly communicate deliveries and the roadmaps to stakeholders around the business to ensure visibility and build the understanding around digital experience.
The UX/UI Manager will adopt a digital first approach within an agile methodology framework, this role will be required to work collaboratively with Product Owners, Developers, Business Leads and other designers within their team and across the organisation to lead design decisions.
Please note: Most of your time will be spent working remotely, supported by necessary equipment, however adhoc travel to our Bournemouth office will be required on occasion.
Main Responsibilities as UX/UI Manager:
* Oversee the delivery of all UX/UI initiatives that enhance digital experience and site functionality.
* Mentor and technically develop your direct reports (including other designers), encouraging them to learn and grow their skill set. Have strong digital industry awareness of emerging technologies and trends.
* Be accountable, in many instances, for decision making in changes relating to the online customer journey.
* In consultation with the Senior Digital Journey Manager, this role will lead the design of useful, usable, and desirable design patterns within a collaborative team environment, encouraging a culture to positively critique others' designs.
* Lead the idea generation for an ongoing ‘test and learn cycle’ within the team, leveraging AB/MVT capability and competitor analysis to shape ongoing experience development to deliver good commercial and customer outcomes.
Skills and experience you need as UX/UI Manager:
* Strong experience leading a team of UX/UI Designers.
* Proven experience with design tools such as Adobe XD and Figma.
* Strong portfolio showcasing web and mobile design projects.
* Advanced knowledge of UX/UI design and development, including wireframing, prototyping, and visual design.
* Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, responsive and mobile-first design.
