What Are We Looking For?
Our Muir of Ord facility is looking for a Trainee Plant Coordinator to join the business on a full-time permanent basis. Your main duties will be to assist with the day-to-day management of the company’s plant and equipment, maintaining the equipment register including certification and calibration, and carrying out plant movement within the workshops and yard.
Some of Your Key Duties Include:
1. Assist with the co-ordination of plant and equipment.
2. Issue and manage stock of welding consumables.
3. Issue and reorder welding gas as needed.
4. Arrange off-hire for third-party plant and tools.
5. Manage certification and document control.
6. Maintain and manage the tool inventory database.
7. Arrange repairs and calibrations, both external and internal.
8. Issue rigging equipment as required.
9. Control and update registers/systems to reflect plant and equipment hire status.
10. Carry out all other tasks as requested within the post holder’s appropriate skill set.
What Do You Need?
1. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
2. Proficient with the use of Microsoft Software and experience in plant maintenance and repairs.
3. Able to adapt to changing business requirements and challenges quickly and positively while efficiently prioritising workload/tasks.
4. FLT Counterbalance Licence is desirable.
5. Manual Handling.
6. Full UK Driving Licence.
