Human Resources are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our HR Systems & Performance team, to support the team in delivering the Council's suite of HR applications, produce HR performance metrics and support our contract management requirements.
The HR Systems & Performance team works closely with our systems providers and HR colleagues to manage and develop the HR systems required to support employee/manager self-service and wider consultancy activity.
The successful candidate will be able to pick up systems knowledge quickly, be proactive and a team player with excellent communication and customer service skills, the ability to prioritise, work to deadlines and follow standard operating procedures.
You will need to be highly organised, and confident in undertaking transactional processes, showing the ability to work at pace and with accuracy.
As a HR Systems & Performance Administrator, you will be involved in dealing with employee enquiries related to the Council's HR systems, support colleagues with the production of data and ensure the accurate maintenance of secure systems access for end users.
Working with a team of dedicated HR systems and performance professionals you will act as the first point of contact dealing with a high volume of standard and complex customer enquiries from employees and managers. This will include manual interrogation of our systems to find key information, analysis of audit and verification reports and taking the subsequent required action to resolve identified issues.
You will be developing user guidance materials and delivering technical systems support via one to one and group training sessions both remotely and in person.
You will need to be competent in the use of IT packages (Excel, Outlook, Teams etc). Ideally you will have knowledge and experience of working with sensitive information in a HR & Payroll system, although this is not essential as training will be given.
The role is hybrid, predominantly working from home with a minimum of 1 day a week in the office. This arrangement is kept under review in line with service demand. You will be based at Howden House in the city centre.
