Job summary The interview date for this role is 24th March 2025 A Challenging and exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our Physiotherapy team. The successful applicant will work on a rota system to cover Critical Care, Cardio-respiratory inpatients and General Surgery over a 7 day service and be an active member of the Respiratory oncall service. The successful candidate must have Degree or equivalent in physiotherapy andCurrent HCPC registration. Significant post-graduate experience in the NHS, having completed a junior rotation across a wide variety of areas. Previous experience of caring for Critical Care, respiratory and post operative patients would be desirable. The candidate must be a confident, clinical role model, who is able to ensure the highest possible standards of care to our patients and have the ability to integrate and work alongside the multi-disciplinary team. The successful candidate will be provided with Regular supervision sessions, training and be involved in service development including audit. As part of the job role you will be expected to supervise Junior Physiotherapist /Therapy assistants and contribute to teaching within the department and wider trust. Main duties of the job Providing a specialist physiotherapy service to Critical care, Medical wards (including Respiratory medicine and Cardiology) and General surgery. To undertake specialist assessments, treatment and advice to patients with complex presentations and formulate a clinical diagnosis and physiotherapy treatment plan as an autonomous practitioner.
