What does a Support Worker do?
This is a busy and diverse role, supporting people with various aspects of daily life and helping them do the things they want to do, such as going swimming, personal cares, meal support, household management tasks, and teaching life skills. Support Workers are part of a team that works shifts or specific rosters providing 24/7 support, with the potential for additional sleepover payments included in some rosters.

Who are we looking for?
* People who are passionate about helping others, kind, and understanding
* Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred, including experience with disabilities and challenging behaviors
* Full driver's license is essential
* Individuals who have the initiative to encourage others to achieve their goals, are energetic, outgoing, and can think outside the box, while being respectful of diverse lifestyles
* Flexibility to work overnight shifts across a roster, including weekends
Empathy, respect, and cultural awareness are important in this role as the people we support come from diverse backgrounds with varying needs and interests.
