Financial Accountant - On Site We are recruiting a highly skilled and motivated Financial Accountant to join a manufacturing business in the Northwest. This role is pivotal in ensuring the financial health of the business, overseeing treasury, statutory accounting, tax, and audit processes while also acting as the Company Secretary. Through financial modelling and forecasting, you’ll help drive business growth both organically and through mergers and acquisitions (M&A). Key Responsibilities: You will be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial information, overseeing the year-end audit process, and producing statutory accounts. Managing treasury functions, including foreign exchange and cash flow forecasting, will be a key part of the role. Ensuring compliance with VAT, payroll taxes, pensions, and statutory reporting obligations is essential. Additionally, you will build and manage stakeholder relationships, support business growth through M&A processes, and prepare management accounts for non-trading entities within the group. Assisting the Financial Controller with month-end and year-end financial reporting requirements will also be part of your remit. Preferred Skills and Experience: We are looking for a fully qualified ACA/ACCA professional with ideally three years post-qualification experience. A strong background in statutory accounts and tax is essential. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to present financial data meaningfully.
