The Kroll business Restructuring practices’ aim is to provide effective solutions to its clients. Our clients include major high street banks, asset-based lenders, private equity houses, accountants, solicitors, financial sponsors, lenders, creditors, corporates, and individuals. We are tasked with assuming direct responsibility for a portfolio of cases, principally Administrations, Liquidations, and CVAs as well as offering advice and guidance to organizations in distressed situations across virtually every industry and every situation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Manager, you will embrace change and take risks. You will solve problems, demonstrate stress tolerance, and influence others in our Restructuring business.
Day-to-day tasks include:
1. Identify and discuss with the IP any issues and obstacles as they arise, suggesting solutions to overcome and progress matters, and provide regular updates to the IP;
2. Undertake financial analysis of statutory accounts, management information, short-term cash flow forecasts, and longer-term integrated forecast models;
3. Assume responsibility for, build and maintain key stakeholder relations and liaise with clients, clients’ employees, agents, and solicitors as necessary, including site visits;
4. Provide guidance, motivation, mentoring, and assistance to junior members of the team, assisting them with their training and progression in Kroll and undertake appraisals and other actions as required;
5. Assist in the preparation of tenders for new work and lender panels liaising with other offices and service lines as appropriate;
6. Promote the business and services of Kroll by hosting and attending marketing events and seminars and presentations by other professionals and clients.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Strong team player;
2. Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, and Word;
3. Experience of Administrations, Liquidation (CVL and MVL), and CVA processes;
4. Experience of short-term cash flow and other forecast reviews;
5. A minimum of 6 years’ insolvency experience;
6. Commensurate knowledge of Insolvency Act and Rules relating to the above procedures;
7. Strong academic track record;
8. Qualified ACA / ACCA and ideally CPI / JIEB.
