20.5 hours per week – worked over 4 days (0.5 hour break) TTO
Salary: £24,702 Pro rata. Actual salary: £11,733
Working days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 8.50am – 2.00pm / Friday 8.30am – 3.30pm (Break 12.00 – 12.30)
Required to start: January 2025 or as soon as possible

Merstone School is looking to appoint an Administration Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Administration Team being responsible to the Office Manager and to support in the smooth running of the schools by providing daily reception, administrative, procedural and organisational support.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Experience of school systems and using SIMS.
2. Strong spoken and written communication skills.
3. Secure IT skills to deal with oral or written exchanges with a range of audiences.
4. Ability to use Microsoft Office and SIMS (or other school database systems).
5. Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with people at all levels.
6. Ability to prioritise, manage own workload and use initiative.
7. Ability to record written and numerical information accurately and reliably.
8. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
