We are seeking Female Workers who are compassionate and dedicated Dom Care Workers to join our team and provide pop-in calls to our clients. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to both adults and children in need of assistance with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care, including behaviour management, meal preparation, and medication administration. The Care Worker will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for clients.
Working Shifts will be:
Full Time 6am-11pm on a 3 on and 3 off basis
Responsibilities
* Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
* Help with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met.
* Administer medication as per prescribed guidelines.
* Implement behaviour management strategies to support clients with specific needs.
* Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required.
* Maintain accurate records of client care and report any changes in health or behaviour to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
Experience
* Previous experience in a caregiving role involving care for children is preferred.
* Experience in dementia care or working with individuals with behavioural challenges is beneficial.
* A valid UK driving licence is desired for transportation of clients.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families are essential.
