Are you an experienced and enthusiastic Insurance Surveyor looking for a role that promises to expand your career? This Glasgow based contractor is looking to further strengthen their management team with a skilled and detail oriented Insurance Surveyor. This is an exciting opportunity to work within the ever expanding reinstatement sector of construction. Providing expert assessment, cost analysis and valuations for insured property damage claims, you will be playing a critical role in supporting fair settlement of claims whilst protecting client and insurer interests. Reporting to the Commercial Director and working to support the wider Quantity Surveying team, duties of the role will include: Assessing and evaluating property damage claims from an insurance perspective. Preparing detailed cost estimates and validating contractor pricing. Be aware of new materials and various methods of construction which contractors may employ, as well as a sound knowledge of latest regulations. Conducting site inspections and compile structured survey reports. Liaising with loss adjusters, insurers, contractors, and policyholders. Providing expert input on reinstatement costs and repair methodologies. Monitoring project progress and costs to ensure accurate settlement values. Contributing towards the resolution of disputes, problems and cost issues. Requirements: Proven track record in similar role. Strong knowledge of building construction and insurance repair processes.
