Do you want to work in a team where we encourage and celebrate young people's aspirations? If so we have an exciting opportunity for you to work within our Leaving Care Service as a Personal Advisor.
You will provide advice and assistance to our Care Leavers, supporting our young people in preparing for independent living and helping them achieve their wishes and goals for the future.
The team follow a Pathway Planning process for care experienced young people (predominantly 18-25 years old) transitioning to adulthood, working with a variety of professionals that may be involved in a young person’s life to ensure a joined-up approach focusing on a young person’s holistic needs.
Each day as a Personal Advisor will be varied, presenting new challenges and learning opportunities. You will build strong and supportive relationships with our young people by being consistent, reliable, and trustworthy. You will meet young people where they are and remain focused on achieving positive outcomes for them.
If you are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of care leavers and have the skills and experience to support them on their journey to independence, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.
