Team Leader – Supported Living Service for Children (Ages 5-18)

We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated Team Leader to oversee the day-to-day running of our supported living service for children aged 5-18. Our service provides a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment where children can thrive, develop essential life skills, and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities of the Team Leader role
Lead, manage, and support a team of care staff to deliver high-quality, person-centered care.
Ensure the service operates in compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
Develop and maintain individualized care plans for the children and young people in your care.
Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes the well-being and development of each child.
Manage staffing rotas, oversee training, and provide regular supervision to the team.
Build strong relationships with families, schools, and other professionals to support the needs of the children.
Respond promptly and effectively to safeguarding concerns, ensuring the safety and welfare of all children.
What We’re Looking For in a Team Leader
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role within a care or supported living setting, ideally with children and young people.
Qualifications: Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent). A Level 5 qualification in Leadership for Children and Young People's Services is desirable or willingness to work towards it.
Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to motivate and guide a team.
Knowledge: Sound understanding of safeguarding, child development, and regulatory requirements.
