Description The job itself Lady in her 40s living in Bridlington who has a learning disability, cerebral palsy and mobility issues requires support Monday to Sunday - several support workers required for this role. Please specify your availability and hours you would be interested in on your CV or within an application. Monday to Friday 7am - 9.30am - personal care routine. Monday to Friday 4pm - 9pm - toileting, meal time, personal care, put to bed. Sat 8 hours - 1pm - 9pm Sunday 7 hours - 2pm - 9pm Duties include: all aspects of personal care, dressing and undressing and getting ready for bed, social interaction and activities at home. The lady enjoys arts & crafts, spending time on her iPad and watching television, playing games, jigsaws. On weekends duties will include the above plus supporting female on outings. Ideal candidates would be someone who is patient, caring, friendly and trustworthy, it would be an advantage to have experience of working with people with a learning disability. A genuine occupational requirement for a female worker exists for this post under the Equality Act 2010 due to privacy and decency.
