Facilities Maintenance Assistant / Handyman - £26600 - North Nottinghamshire
A Facilities Services business is supporting a long term contract to deliver services to a PFI healthcare portfolio of Primary Care centres across North Nottingham.
Typical responsibilities will include the following:
1. Replacing light tubes/emergency light batteries
2. Minor slab and paving repairs
3. Replacing digital locks, door closers, and door furniture
4. Conducting Fire Door visual inspections
5. Carry out fire alarm weekly activation and assist with site evacuations
6. Maintaining the set of on site compliance books, including completing the daily/weekly/monthly checklists/documents
7. Using a PDA in order to close down assigned work orders within all SLA's
8. Planning of minor works (access and time span)
9. Minor building repairs, including painting as required
10. Winter maintenance, supplementary gritting and clearance of snow as per gritting plan
11. Replacement of site stock/ordering of materials
12. Installing shelves and noticeboards as required
13. Water hygiene run offs and temperature checks
