Job summary Norfolk & Waveney NHS Talking Therapies Deputy Service Manager Norfolk & Waveney NHS Talking Therapies is currently benchmarked in the top three NHS Talking Therapies Services in the country. The service has recently bid, and retained the contract for a further five years. The new service model launches in September 2024, so this is a very exciting time to be joining the service. The service is delivered as part of a well-established partnership between Norfolk & Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (NSFT), Mind and Relate. Our NHS Talking Therapies service provides community orientated, evidence-based psychological therapies for people from the age of sixteen with common mental health problems of anxiety and low mood with a range of presentations. We are looking to employ a forward-thinking professional that demonstrates commitment to the service, in order to help meet the needs of our communities in Norfolk & Waveney. As part of the new contract and service model the service will be moving to a place-based delivery model and will be focused on reducing health inequalities across the Norfolk & Waveney working closely with other health providers and VCSE. Main duties of the job As a partnership we offer a range of psychological, employment and social interventions across Norfolk & Waveney, working in line with the national NHS Talking Therapies manual and our key national and local metrics. Therapies offered include one-to-one guided self- help, CBT, Interpersonal Therapy, Cognitive Analytic Therapy, Couples Therapy for Depression, Counselling for Depression and EMDR. Our colleagues, employed by Mind offer Employment Advice, Peer Support Work and Community Development Coordinators are out in the community engaging at all levels. About us This is a community-based role that will require working face-to-face with colleagues. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management across the service supporting the Service Manager. You will require exceptional organisational skills, an ability to filter demands and prioritise effectively, with a good grasp of what can be appropriately delegated. Day to day problem solving whilst maintaining an eye on the strategic direction of the service is important. You will ensure quality service provision and delivery across Norfolk and Waveney and support the Service Manager, Deputy Clinical Lead, Data & Performance Manager, Deputy Service Managers and Lead Therapists in achieving our key performance outcomes and growing our successful service. You will receive regular line management and support from the Service Manager.
