We are looking for a Trade / Customer Marketeer to be the bridge between sales and marketing, leveraging your skills and passion so our brands come to life for customers and consumers alike. This is a new role, working in the Lyme Bay office, in Axminster, Devon, UK, so only apply if you are in commuting distance!
You will have results mindset alongside an ability to deliver multiple projects in the pursuit of Lyme Bay’s ambitions. Strong organisational skills with an outstanding attention to detail and accuracy come naturally to you.
You’ll demonstrate success in areas such as:
* Defining trade marketing campaigns (ideally alcohol beverages), and considering the full mix of activities from in-store to PR and trade advertising.
* Distilling your knowledge into easy-to-understand reasons to believe / presenters and similar selling materials for sales and marketing teams.
* Driving visibility through e.g. distinctive POS (sourcing through to compliance), displays, value added promotions / gift with purchase and quality merchandise.
* Managing sales and brand activity calendar alongside organising events, tastings, promotions, and workshops aligned to this.
* Generating ideas to get liquid on lips, encourage trial and purchase of Lyme Bay brands alongside managing customer marketing communication, from e newsletters to trade media.
* Evaluating and reporting on the effectiveness and efficiency of trade marketing activities, drawing on information from sales, finance, operations and other data analytics.
* Building great relationship within the Lyme Bay team alongside genuine customer service skills, delivered with intelligence, passion, and integrity.
That probably means you are already have a grounding in trade marketing, ideally with (drinks) category experience. Bringing a balance of creativity with rigor and commercial reality. Of course, you’ll enjoy moving from think to do, and happy to ‘muck in’.
To round off: good IT / PC skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office, and various social media platforms, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, fluency in written and spoken English and full driving license are required.
