If so, we might have the role for you We’re currently recruiting a Business Support Administrator to join a function delivering administration, technical engineering support and business services at Drax. About the role You’ll be supporting a streamlined, efficient service for our business stakeholders. As part of a wider team, you’ll be providing process, analytical and administrative support for Drax Power Station activities. It’s a varied role - where no two days will be the same. You could be arranging internal and external meetings, taking minutes and recording actions. Next you could be supporting with training activities and project work. Your role will also involve managing document filing systems, managing drawing databases and producing documentation, records and statistics as needed. You’ll be encouraged to suggest new ways of working and improve processes. Career development and progression will be supported through coaching and mentoring. Who we’re looking for We’re looking for you to come in and hit the ground running, so you’ll have ideally been working in a similar admin support function in your most recent role. You’ll be able to work efficiently, self-prioritise your workload and operate under your own initiative. Demonstrating good organisation and time management skills, you’ll also show high attention to detail and adaptability in your approach. You’ll need to be flexible, adaptable to change and eager to learn. You’ll need strong numerical and analytical skills with an ability to produce accurate work to tight timescales. You’ll be confident using Microsoft Office products. Experience using financial systems such as Maximo would be beneficial but isn’t essential. This role will require you to communicate with stakeholders face-to-face, on the phone and via email so strong communication skills and a confident approach are important. You’ll have the ability to build positive relationships internally and externally.
