We are looking for enthusiastic, compassionate Advanced Practitioners who can be from a Nursing or Paramedic background that have experience in Primary and/or Urgent care and are educated to an advanced level of practice with the ability to work autonomously.
Main duties of the job
Successful applicants will be able to manage acute illness and minor ailments. They will refer independently as appropriate, arrange, and interpret investigations. They will be able to understand complex situations and use a range of skills to decide the best course of action.

Job responsibilities

6. Minimum 3 years NP experience.
7. Telephone triage.
8. Able to manage acute illness, long-term conditions, and minor ailments for all ages from birth onwards.
9. Refer patients independently as appropriate.
10. Arrange and interpret appropriate investigations.
11. High level of clinical skills and competency relevant to the role.
Person Specification
Experience
* 3 years Nurse Practitioner experience, time management and flexibility, provide training to other staff.
Qualifications
* RGN/RN MSc Nursing Extended and supplementary prescribing, minimum 3 years NP experience, telephone triage, refer patients independently, high level of clinical skills.
* Family planning certificate, diabetes certificate, pediatric clinical skills.
