GSL Education is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SENCO in Sheffield.

The Role
To work closely with the Executive Senco of the academy, taking charge of SEND provision in th Study Centre, ensuring effective management of resources.
Identifying and assessing pupils’ needs through the analysis of available data, initial and ongoing observation and assessment.
Monitoring and tracking pupil progress to inform the setting of appropriately, challenging and achievable individual targets.
Ensure records are maintained and kept up to date.
Manage and lead on all aspects of the Statutory Assessment process for your identified cohort.
Lead on EHCP annual reviews for your cohort.
The Ideal candidate
A relevant teaching qualification and qualification in dyslexia teaching or other SEND specialism, or significant SEND experience.
The national SENCO qualification (or willingness to complete the qualification).
