The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Group Project Accountant to join a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation. This role is crucial in managing financial transactions across multiple entities while contributing to strategic projects that drive business efficiency and growth.
The Role
As Group Project Accountant, you will be responsible for managing intercompany transactions, ensuring compliance, and supporting key financial projects. You will collaborate closely with finance teams across multiple departments and international offices to enhance financial reporting and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process intercompany transactions and generate invoices with accuracy.
* Perform reconciliations for intercompany accounts, resolving discrepancies.
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP, FRS 102) and internal policies.
* Assist in the preparation of financial statements and support audit requirements.
* Work on strategic projects, providing financial insights and analysis.
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation for intercompany transactions.
Who We're Looking For:
* Qualified Accountant (ICAS, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or qualified by experience.
* Strong understanding of financial reporting, accounting principles, and project management.
* Ability to analyse complex financial data and provide strategic insights.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage non-financial stakeholders.
* Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial documentation.
* Proficiency in financial software
