About The Role
As the site Energy and Sustainability Specialist you'll be responsible for the sustainability processes within the brewery, which includes utilities such as Water, Energy, Waste, and looking after our Carbon Emissions reduction management plans. Our Ciderie has a large investment coming its way which means there is a sizeable capital project to get your teeth stuck in to!
As The Specialist, You'll Serve As The Main Mentor For The Team With All Things Sustainability. You'll Be Able To Work Across The Different Departments To Engage With Stakeholders On Sustainability Related Topics. On Top Of That, The Following Will Keep You Busy:
1. Ensuring environmental compliance to standards and local legislation
2. Responsible for coordinating deployments to tackle energy and water losses
3. Coordinating deployment activities within Pillars and departments
4. Making sure the sustainability KPIs are cascaded and driven in the brewery
5. Managing sustainability KPIs to required quality specifications (when applicable)
6. Managing external service providers and supports contracting/evaluation
7. Coordinating and managing the development and usage of Visual Management, Poke, Yoke and CBM for PM / CILT tasks
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for a technically skilled person who may have a chemical engineering degree, and the drive to match! Of course, a good understanding of sustainability is required as well as some experience of stakeholder and people management as you'll be bringing people along the journey with you.
Role
The role holder will need to like a challenge as we've got ambitious energy and water reduction targets, and you may have a few of the following:
1. Previous experience in utilities (process) management, handling and control
2. TPM and AM knowledge
3. Experience of Montage or similar energy monitoring and reporting systems
4. Ability to confidently report and present findings in a coherent manner
5. Previous experience in coaching and influencing colleagues
6. General knowledge of operations
